SATURDAY AUGUST 20:

(Please Note: Event times are approximate)

8:00 AM    Registration Officially Opens. You will need your proof of current AMA Membership. Pilots Fees are $25.00 which will include 5 free raffle tickets

10:00 AM  Pilots Meeting always starts with the National Anthem. During the brief meeting we will cover the “Do’s & Don’t’s of CubNuts/22

10:30 AM It’s the Famous “All Up Cubs” event. The previous record was 54 airplanes in the air at once. You may want to consider some type of peculiar marking or drag something behind your airplane for you to recognize. Strange Fact: It is rare that that we have any collisions, in the 7 years of this event we have had only two mid-air accidents.

11:00 AM Follow The Russ. Since we are all primed to see a lot of airplanes in the air at once we will next move to another pilot favorite. This event is a ton of fun and all you have to do is whatever Russ tells you to do. All airplanes take off at the same time and follow the flight directions. It’s like a giant airshow of pilots all flying in unison. You will love it!

Lunch Break:

1:00 PM Dead Nuts Round 1 thru 3. Not dangerous and not easy but easy enough that everyone can participate. You take off, go to about 400 feet, cut you engine or motor and glide back down to get as close to the Dead Nuts Bulleye in the middle of the 30 foot circle. The closer you land to the center the more points you score. Three rounds, highest score wins.

3:00 PM Dez Nuts. A new event that will take some skill and a plan. Imagin a 2 minute timed event, some nasty limbo poles, some obstacles and a necessary flight plan to finish this one with a high score.

4:00 PM Open Flying

5:00 PM – Stinky Pete’s Pulled Pork Sandwiches and all the fix’ins. Tickets will go quick, only 50 available at $10.00 each. If you have never tasted Stinky Pete’s you are in for a treat.
