Remember CubNuts/22 is a Celebration of the Famous Piper Cub. While the "Cub is King" we allow almost any type of variant, high wing aircraft, Cessna, Champs, Citabria, Timber, etc. etc. For new pilots who would like to join us you can even bring your Aero Scout. If the wing is on the top of the fueslage then you can fly it. If the wing is anywhere else leave it at home.
This is a sanctioned Class C - Restricted AMA event.

Full size aircraft fly-by's and landings every day. Wait till you the RV-8 come across the runway at 50 feet and 120 knots... Impressive!

Here Are Just Some of the Planned Events...
THE PILOTS CHOICE EVENT: The Famous "DEAD NUTS"
A 30 foot circle is painted in the middle of the runway with a Bulls Eye in the middle. You take your airplane up to about 400 feet then kill the engine/motor. You glide back down to see how close you can come to the Dead Nuts Bulls Eye. Not easy but a ton of fun!
THE CROWD FAVORITE "ALL UP CUBS"
This is the one the crowds come to see. If you have never seen over 30 airplanes in the air at once don't miss this event and ont fly an airplane in this event that you love. You should always bring at least one Cub that you may not be taking back home!
NEW! - LIMBO NUTS - SPEED RACE
New this year to Cubnuts/22 a variation of an old favorite flying under a limbo pole but rest assured it won't be quite that easy!
FLY AS YOUR TOLD. ALSO KNOWN AS "FOLLOW THE RUSS"
What could be easier than flying around with 25 or 30 of your pals simply following flight instructions of the event CD?

FOAM GLIDER TOSS: Winner keeps half the pot the other half goes to the club

NIGHT FLYING:
There is nothing like a good night fly at the Molalla Field. Wide open spaces and a lot of runway to take off and land. Friday and Saturday night the sky is yours for some hopefully very colorful flying
